One of Nexplore's core business values is to focus on improving sustainability around the world, especially in the construction sector. We believe the best way to do this is by creating digital tools that will not only improve the efficiency of work processes but will also redefine them.

Nexplore is working on different programs to provide a laboratory for sustainable living and to promote future services in the context of a digitized society. We examine the latest environmental trends, using advanced technology, to select and enlarge those services that can transform lives.

Prioritizing climate action and sustainability is at the core of our projects and strategies. That allows us to reduce industry’s impact on the environment and to work together with thought leaders, including MIT Climate and Sustainability Consortium among others, to ensure that our agreements incorporate a sustainability element.

In 2019, Life as a Service (LAAS) was initiated by Nexplore acting as the collaborative network and research platform to invent tomorrow’s cities, villages and landscapes by holistically connecting digital services to human values.

The LAAS program revolves around the question of how the future of advanced services can improve the way we live together in a physical and digitized world. We formulate briefs and conceptualize ‘alternative futures’ to conduct future visioning and identify priorities for inventing transformative services, guidelines and designs.

We look at what we call ‘key life activities’ and have selected 11 activities that expressively shape our daily lives and significantly form and transform our urban landscapes. We include work, education, health, transportation, construction, housing, food, waste, production, consumption and governance.
